Welcome to our Technical Support Page. Here, you can find ways to maintain our products.
For those of you who have purchased our "Gripper Guards", here is a way to keep them looking new with little time and effort. After you wash your bike and your guards are clean, spray alittle WD-40 on the guards (wipe the excess off). It brings the shine back up and helps them to look new. You can even spray them with a clear lacquer to give them that "fresh-look"!
If you are experiencing excessive boot wear, we have a plastic spray that you can buy from us for $9.95. It comes in clear and black. Just spray the boots and let dry. Call for more information.

STEPS TO RESURFACING CARBON FIBER / X-Fibre FRAME GUARDS 1) Purchase 30 minute cure EPOXY RESIN (available at Wal-mart/Napa, etc) 2) Remove Guards. 3) Using #220 wet/dry sand paper, scuff guard surface. 4) Clean with Acetone or Lacquer thinner 5) Mix EPOXY resin and hardener, stirring slowly making sure as few air bubbles as possible are in mixture, for approximately 4 minutes. 6) Set frame guards on a cup, making sure the mount holes are open so the resin will drain through. 7) Make sure the surface is clean from dirt and dust. 8) SLOWLY pour resin mixture over entire surface of guards (if the mount holes begin to clog, open them using a small screw driver) 9) Let cure (dry) inaccordance with the EPOXY label instructions 10) Sand edge of frame guard to remove resin build up using 100 grit sand paper (hand sanders and dremels work also.) 11) Re install guards.
